Now I wish I could "unread" that but why do people post such stuff online? I would have liked to imagine some other meaning to the "open vein" - maybe something more along the lines of an open heart? And I don't mean surgery!

It makes me furious that people get famous on that filth, whilst brilliant writers can't get published.

So true! They must have the right connections? Luck? Who knows?

Since I have no plans to indulge In myself into either opening a raw vein or reading total trash I really not in a position to comment. I'm not sure what pleasure one would derive from reading this. I'm no prude, but thanks for the heads up. I'll skip that one.

Artwork and words work together to deliver the slut-down of current culture. If I were a judge and some of these people brought charges of abuse before me I would dismiss for lack of evidence. Who would want it?

I'm not on twitter--I was blind-sided when I picked up the book in a swap-box! Thanks for stopping by. Cheers. LIZ

I caught you! You're reading Broder again. I'm not on Twitter, so I had no idea who Melissa Broder is. Apparently she wants her readers to know each and every salacious detail of her life. I don't get it. I agree with you it would be too much information. It would be for lots of people, but there are some who indulge. I will not be eagerly looking for her book. It's astounding what books can become best sellers, though. judi
