I had to read the first two paragraphs twice to retain the information but once I got all the characters straight I was really into the story. I presume this is the first chapter and you have a good set-up for lots to happen. Do a grammar check for as I was reading there seem to be some catches. Perhaps it is on purpose as Noel thinks like he talks.
