birds and bees advice

Hello, Mark,

Cool 5/7/5 about the birds and bees. LoL
Clever satori. Good syllables count and connection between lines. I didn't read the picture so I could focus on your poem.

Ha! Ha! This is a cute one. I love the cartoon clip with your poem. It just about says it all. The look on the little boy's face is priceless. I also thought it funny that the birds and the bees missed the sex ed class. good luck with the contest.

    Patty,

Thanks for your kind remarks. A few FS reviewers somehow did not understand why the birds and needs missed the sex ed class - funny I thought it was obvious. I can?t recall explaining this situation to my children, but surely my spouse did. LOL

    The cartoon tells it like it is (-;

I hate to say that I don't really get this piece. I can tell there is supposed to be some kind of joke or pun, but it just is not computing in my mind. I think I am missing a much needed component.

    Mia,

Your parents or adults may have explained the birds and bees story to you. The stork delivering the baby never worked for me. I was trying to say the other animals did not have the birds and bees in their class or the cartoon to explain the situation.

Ha, Ha, ha this is so funny:) I was thinking that they just do it; "Wise old owl teaches
forest creatures about sex.
Birds and bees missed class." Thank you for sharing and good luck with the contest.

The form and syllable count are spot on and your work is clearly animal related. The context I found a bit confusing. I didn't understand the joke or point.

Good luck in the contest.

Did a teacher or educator or your Mom or Dad ever explain the story of the birds and bees to you? The owl is doing its best, but some of the students in the woods apparently know the story already!

No offense. I just didn't get it. Best wishes to you.

This is at best, interesting and clever. It is a bit of a strange way to put things but I get it. I do appreciate the chuckles it gave me and I wish you all the best.

Oh my. Sex education in the class room described in three lines. Do you know how much is being spent trying to educate what the birds and bees figured out all by themselves? Not only that kids are graduation without being able to read and write! Artwork is perfect. Reminds me of an old, old Ray Stevens song "Don't look Ethel". This one is a winner for me.

This 5-7-5, Birds and Bees Advise, has the right set up and nods at the vague birds and bees example of procreation which pales in comparison to the sweaty, enjoyable act.
