Does she know he saw her? That is the question on my mind through the rest of this chapter. I love learning the history of the characters. I think it is wonderful how you work in those backstories.

Thank you so much for reading my chapter and for such an encouraging review. I'm so glad you enjoyed the backstory. He was supposed to be a nonessential character, but Toni insisted his story be told. I have to keep her and Anna happy otherwise they'll refuse to talk to me. It's lonely when you're a writer with no one to play in your fictional world with you.

Some excellent work done here, Toni's surveillance pays off when a man comes out to her car to knock on the window, she has the perfect answer for him, but he probably spills more than he intended, such is her innocent demeaned. Well done, great episode, blessings Roy

Hi Mistydawn.
It looks like Doc is skating on thin ice with hot skates. His secrets are becoming less of a secret. It sounds like the neighbors know about circumstances but not motives or actions. Toni's thoughts along the way are filling in the blanks.
