I think you kind of shortchanged the Republican stanza. You made it seem like Democrats are the only ones who prefer equality. I think both parties also favor statesmanship and respectful negotiation. Good luck in the contest.

Earl, I am not intending to be on either side of the system. I my humble opinion, our two party system has lost the original and morally upstanding focus, Debate and compromise with an intended focus on social and fiscal responsibilities.

I am not sure either of those first two statements is true, actually. The Democratic Party we have at the moment is a long way from encouraging and promoting democracy. But the last stanza was something I can agree with. Thanks!

Robyn I couldn't not agree more, my words are very specific about the tenants of our tow party system from its inception. I make no political statement here, both parties have, in my opinion, lost thee moral compass and objectives.

They asked for three stanzas. You have given them three lines. Yes you can have single line stanzas but in that case there should be a line break in between each line/stanza.
It is about as 'nice' as one can be about politics and the qualifying adverbs concluding each line/stanza work well but at the moment it is non compliant and a non compliant work can never be worth five stars in my book.
