Nice one to use Narcissus for the theme of your octelle poem! I wonder if you meant to have "tendency" in "reflect addictive personality" to repeat the second line and keep to the 8 syllable count?

I had written a few sentences, here, then hit some key - who knows what, and they all disappeared. So... I begin again.
This is a lovely poem, not only with good rhyming, and message, but you give us a little Greek Mythology --all within the parameters of an Octelle, (which is a new one on me.)
I do believe you met the challenge with flying colors! Good going!
Maybe if I say I love daffodils (instead of Narcissus) it won't seem narcissistic :)

Well crafted and a very needed warning. I think it has become clear narcissistic personalities are becoming far more common. And it is not just seen in all selfies, and tweets, tik- too bids, anything to be seen and liked.

I agree with you whole heartedly! Humanity, at least in 1st world countries are incredibly self-obsessed and are raising their children to be the same way-Social media promotes it as well. Good write.
