What a wonderful story. My sister had a doll like that which she wanted to pass on to a daughter. Unfortunately, she passed away before she was able to have one. I commend you for carrying on the tradition. God bless you.

Nice nostalgic story. I do wonder what stories she would tell, and how many secrets were revealed to hear unhearing ears. Not to worry, she's also mute. I hope your granddaughters learn to love her, too.

i really loved the authenticity of this piece. it really show how little things can be as significate to people. i have a similar token item that would be seen as inexpensive to others but i can't live without it. i love your writing style. it was a truly beautiful story.
