Enjoyable poem offering for Groundhog's Day. Guess it's too early to put the winter coats away. Still I pray for our East coast folk who will Really feel it. God Bless and Best Wishes for you in the Naani Contest.

    Full disclosure: Since I do not buy into the "global warming" thing so deep, I have trouble finding sympathy for yankees (hip) deep in snow. My wife is from Massachusetts and we go there every summah. I visit Plymouth Rock every year because I eat lobstah right down the street. Plymouth Rock is still dry at low tide and barely damp at high tide - just as it was when the Pilgrims landed in 1620. The sea has not risen in Plymouth! Thanks for stopping by!

Timely entry for the current contest. He certainly didn't see his shadow here in Quebec. We are getting a snowstorm with lots of wind. Whichever way it goes, Spring will come when it is ready.

    I just don't see how y'all live up there this time of year! But, somebody has to do it, and I am sure you do it well. Stay warm and dry, my friend! Thanks for stopping by...

Dear Mystery Poet,

Well, in just twenty-five syllables you've summed up what I think most of us are feeling. Come on! At least let us deal with the pandemic with some bright sunshine and play!! haha

Thanks!

    Well, Alabama girl, we can giggle as the yankees shovel. Today, we celebrated Groundhog Day at my golf club. We have groundhogs and they said:
    "Phil is a yankee groundhog;
    His opinion don't count here!
    South of the Mason-Dixon,
    Spring is soon, don't fear!"
