Your poem is humorous and also relatable. I've been caught out a few times by changeable weather!
Nice poem structure, it complements the theme of battling on through the elements.

I think this sounds more like me than my man. *smile* I am really hot-natured and hate to wear coats. Invariably, I leave the house in sleeveless shirts regardless of the temps. People always chastise me about what might happen if I have car trouble. Yikes!

My spell check let me down on that one (skoff). Maybe it is because I am Scandinavian that I want to put a 'K' in everything like the word 'skol'? Just kidding. Thanks for your review. It was fun playing with this one.

Good

I have been that guy who scoffed at my wife when she suggested taking a coat. Great description of his arrogance in stanza three. You do a good job of describing the weather BEFORE it turned, but I think you need one more stanza describing HOW sharply it turned.

That is a very interesting point. I will take that into consideration and see if I may be able to add another stanza. I am not good at altering something that I have posted but I surely will give it a try. Thank you for your review.

Very nice poem. I really like it when writers sort of come up with their own syllabic formulas for poetry. Makes it interesting to read and see how they did it.

Great poem describing that picture. I like your ending:
"The weather oft can quickly shift
It had not spared
One unprepared"
