I particularly applaud these lines:
and now she is cruising that infinite heaven.
AND
the beauty of her words tumbled through my mind,
AND this phrase:
breathing in the wide space,
LOVE THIS:
Holding my breath, I heard the roar of her pen.
Pitch perfect closing note (pun intended):
Now, free of pain, she will travel for an eternity.
Lovely. I bet she loves it TOO!

I've returned to FanStory after a long time away facing some health issues my self. She was one of the first to welcome me 11-12 years ago. Crystal tears fall from my eyes as I read your tribute. I will attempt to write something later right now my own pain is too great.

This was so sweet. That is one of the best things we all loved about our dear Joan was that she wasn't selfish regarding her travels. She shared with alllll of us! One note - can you remove some of the space at the top?

This is a beautiful tribute to JoanE. Being new to FanStory, I did not have the pleasure of meeting her, but she sounds like a wonderful person. I'm glad she is now free of her pain, but I'm sorry for the loss of everyone who knew and loved her.
