That is a beautiful picture. One of those things that you see and have to stop to take a picutre with. It would be easy to ride the wave when it is not moving. However, it doesn't give you the same experience.

Those two aspects evoked me to read up on flared slopes.
Although it does not look easy riding those still formations for a clumsy non-rider like me; it sure looks fun!
