This is cute. The pup outsmarted its human. It's all a bit metaphorical. The image you have created is precious. The reader would get caught up too. They would want to rescue the puppy. Well thought out.

Thank you. I really did have to think about it a lot. I made several different poems of this style and was having difficulty making them make any sense at all. Ha ha thank you for your review and kind words. Hugss.

You've written a nice little poem. I finally figured out the rhyme scheme. (It's late in the day and the wine isn't helping.) ð??? I looked at the example and don't know on what continent groupes and mounds rhyme. Shrug. You did an excellent job and having had six dogs, I know what you mean. But better mud than skunk!
