Fairly new to completing FanStory review, this is the first time this story has come up on rotation. It is totally captivating, a story I will be following. I appreciate your author's notes that bring me up to speed. A very well written piece.

It would be nice that in fact the Shadow could be overcome by Joseph's love for Carrie, he could overcome Veronica's nastiness by the owners of the business, instead of killing her, Veronica's bosses to be someone in breadline or some such, but I don't want to see someone die, but it's your plot, not mine, you're doing a great job with this, loved Joseph talking back. Beautifully written as always Shana, blessings Roy

Joseph in fact is changing due to Carrie. There is a reason why she has enchanted him the way she has. Later in the story it will unfold.
The Shadow has fooled Joseph since he was a child into thinking he cannot live without him. Although now, he is starting to see the light. As some stories go, characters are given a second chance while others unfortunately do not. Maybe Joseph will come to reason before he decides to take another life. Stay tuned.

The sooner he gets rid of that witch, the better. I do hope he makes her suffer. I feel so sorry for Joeseph. He's such a sweetheart, doesn't deserve to have this demonic thing in his head. Your story is well-written, very interesting start to finish. Your characters, their actions, thoughts, and dialogue seem realistic, bring them to life. I look forward to reading more.

I was hoping I would get this reaction concerning Miss Veronica Hernandez. LOL! Although, wanting her to suffer should be the normal response, some other readers felt like I should let her live. Hmmm... decisions, decisions. I was wanting to end her character, but not so sure how she will meet her end. Maybe at first, she will be terrorized. Hee-hee! I will think on this one.

The only thing I would change is breath "to breathe the same air as you."Other than that I found it a wonderfully well written piece. As far as The Shadow, I would agree with him about Carrie's boss. The picture is really perfect.

You are the second person to want Veronica to meet her end. Only one other person wants me to spare her life. Hmmm... decisions, decisions. LOL! I'll have to think on it. Maybe Joseph will have a change of heart or maybe the Shadow will take over and end her.
