Some might believe that even though they are sinners, they will be forgiven in the end if they say oops! sorry.....but only God knows a true repentance and only he will decide if forgiveness is merited. Nice poem! Smiles to you!

This is a very nicely written 1-5-5-9 poem. Very Beautiful words. God only knows man's sin. Such a nice photo to go with your words as well. Good luck in the contest.

Another fine poem, A. L. D. And it's the age old struggle within us; good verses evil; we have the capacity for both within us. I'd like to think good wins out most of the time

That last line keeps tripping me up. The wording is choppy. The whole poem does not flow well. However it is a mystical concept to evoke deep thought, with a good presentation to go with it. Thanks for sharing. I looked at other ratings sorry mine is low, but I am just being honest.

Comment from Victoria...
Interesting concept poem. I like that you say it's not related to any particular religion. I know you have a syllable count for the poem, but in the last line it sounds like you are telling God to confess. Is that what you meant?

Thank you for this review.
You know, because of syllable challenged poem, I had to use poetic licence.
You know, I cannot tell God to confess, absurdly.
Wish you every success in your chosen goal.

An interesting poem, particularly in light of the Author's notes. As I interpret it, you are are saying that God -in whatever form or structure is the only one who knows our sins. In the end, God will save or punish as desired.
Thank you for sharing.

Thank you for this commanding review.
I wish to mention that only a sinner can confess to or before God and as per God's Exclusive-Perfect-Wise Justice, HE may award the sinner (or crime committer) a punishment or HE may save him, but man cannot do this, for if a sin(or crime) is recorded or booked under the law of the land, even if there is confession, though it is not allowed, before the Judge or Jury, or the Court of Law, if the sin(or crime) is proved, the committer will be punished as per the law.

Yes man has the choice of how he lives but if you follow doctrine, all is forgiven if you believe and honestly repent.
Good luck in the contest.
