You did a great job with your post about wisdom concerning parents, Iza. I like the way you wrote about the child coming from God to bring joy and happiness to parents lives. Your ending is a great message to all about parents responsibility to teach their child(ren) well.
Thanks for sharing,
Respectfully, Jan

If everybody practiced this piece of wisdom we would have a much better society to live in. I think we should hammer into people. I really do. Thank you.

I enjoyed the flavor of this essay. It gives us elderly people a chance to look back and long for the days when we were raising a family. There are many things that I would do differently but, "all's well that ends well."

Iza,

A nice, simple life lesson we should all take great heed to.
We all tend to think Life will present us with the status quo as long as we like - but then, we really all KNOW deep down that's not the case. We just don't want to deal with that reality.

Notes:
1.)We came into our parents(') life with so many expectations

2.) Your book title is obviously misspelled. I have to think it's on purpose but would like to suggest you put something in your notes.

Caleidoscope --> Kaleidoscope

Thanks!

You know how to change/correct that. Right?

Actually I don't know how to move it to a different book, can you help me pretty pls
reply by robyn corum on 30-Jan-2021
    Sure. Go to your PORTFOLIO.

Scroll down to the correct book - the one your poem is in currently. Just underneath it, you will see a box on the left with three titles (probably all the same). Beside this, there are three options. One of them is 'remove from book'. In the boxes - scroll down to the correct title and when it appears in the box next to the bottom option of removing - click 'remove from book' - let me know when that's done.

Good! Now go back to your portfolio, find the correct post, look toward the bottom at all the options and click on ?add to book?

It will bring you to a new screen where you must scroll to the right book you want. Then click to choose. Let me know if it works for you.

Children do not stay little long and they teach us so many things over the year growing up. Our parents were given to us by Gog so is our duty to love them more as they become old and fragile.

I think its a wonderful tribute to parents, and families. There was an interesting perspective in the beginning when you seem to tell this story from the child's point of view, trying to make sense of this new world he/she has stepped into. estory

Thank you so much and I really appreciate for catching on the child point of view. When I started to write this story I was thinking about my dad that passed away one year ago and how lost I felt for the entire year.

Poignant--well said, point taken.

How God sent you into your PARENTS' LIVES to bring joy and happiness. Who said that being a child IS an easy task? We came into our PARENTS' LIVES with so MANY expectations and dreams.

We GO through so much starting with day one.

proudly hang them on the walls [OMIT: OF] within their house.

We go to school, they SPEND time

Sometimes we make them sad with our choices, but [omit: then they will] THEY support us no matter what. Then the TIME COMES when they have to return

A nice narrative reflection on the cycle if life. I like the way it loops birth to death with the key thread of our parents. It flows very nicely without effort or force.
