Wow, thank you for your wonderful service to humankind and also Happy Australia Day! I hope it will be a good one! A BBQ sounds like a fine way to celebrate! Particularly since I'm from Texas and no one loves a good BBQ as much as we do. :-) Except maybe Australians. LOL
Thank you for sharing.

Very good. This work was a enjoyable reminder that Fan story is a international group, and I'm proud to be part of it. The work was technically sound, with a solid rhyme scheme, easy enjoyable read, supported well by the art work. Great job, wishing you continued success.

Good for you. Keep working as long as you are able. It is needed and you are contributing a much-needed service to some needy people. I just retired for the second time. Couldn't stand not working and spent over 60 years nursing. Your poem is great.

Hi Annie Thank you and yes I am still working at 68 and can still pull of a bisy shift bit must admit I am glad to get home and put my feet up ha ha
I often work in the emergency dept and that is so busy and a lot different to what is was like when I was 17 and starting out.
I Have a Midwifery and Critical Care / Emergency degrees as well as a Masters in Education and was a Nurse Educator for 25 years before going onto Nurse Bank 2 years ago so I still enjoy the work and will probably retire this year sometime
Cheers Christine

Oh wow this is so pleasant! Never thought I would want to move to Australia, but this poem and this pandemic have me thinking otherwise! Also cheers to your nursing career!
The quatrains and aabb rhyming make the piece very lighthearted and cheery. Your bubbly diction also adds to this positive feeling.
"My nurses uniform still wear."--> this is the only line I had confusion on, but I understand that you were keeping the 8 syllables, but prior to checking that, that was the only line that felt off.
Great piece!
