You are right. It was a scary and dangerous time that day. Your lines read well with good rhymes, good flow, and great imagery. Your picture is a good choice to pair with your well-chosen words. Your notes add more info, and I agree that our Founding Fathers would not agree with any of it.

You are absolutely correct. Some do not know, others may have forgotten. Daniel 2:44 speaks of a heavenly kingdom(Government) that will crush and put a permanent end to all other governments. So, any human government in place today is on a short lease at best.

I must agree about violence not being the answer. I shutter to think how many thousand will be storming our borders now taking away our people's jobs
and breaking our laws.

That means that the ever vigilant cannot afford to let down their guard. The government can only do so much. It has to count on the everyday citizen to make it aware of things that may otherwise go unnoticed. However, it cannot be just word of mouth, which may very well be ignored. In this day and age, where everyone has a camera, video evidence is a lot more convincing. and much harder to ignore.

Sir, cameras and depending on fake news will never stop the unrest we have in our nation not when there are millions of unhappy people. The die has been cast, matter of time. Get ready.

Very well said in this well versed poem. Your words also depict how stupid these guys were and the cost they are paying. They have not only their legal problems but losing their jobs. They may even exposed themselves to COVID.

this poem is interesting. The rioters storming the U.S. Capitol was a dark day in politics, but Democracy wasn't destroyed, which is always alive. Thanks for sharing!
