Oh how sweet! Did you just make up this story? I have these and I cannot forget them because they won't let me! They are so profuse and they are already sending out little seedlings. The reason why thought they are called that was because the seed pods stick to you so they won't let you forget them! Lol. Beautiful story poem!

I'm determined to plant some this year. Thanks for reviewing. This poem was inspired by Jan's poem about the forget-me-not legend.

Even in Russian, (nee zaboodki) the name means the same! The Greek only means mouse ears. myotis or something like that.

What an AWESOME poem, Yvonne. Your presentation is superb. I love the beautiful image and your equally beautiful tribute to the forget me not flower. The black background highlights your image perfectly. The blue font is like the little blue flowers sprinkled here and there and coming together to make the words of your poem. Good use of alliteration of l and h. Your lines flow smoothly regardless of the meter not 'being perfect.' I didn't notice any issues as I read it--only noticed how sweet and tender the words described with great imagery the little flower from that first meeting with God. You highlight God's love for everything by the love he shooed the shy little flower and made her feel better and special. You are a natural talent in poetry writing--especially with subjects of nature, animals, kids, and humorous poems.
Thank you for sharing your beautiful poem with all.
Respectfully, Jan

Thank you for reviewing, and most of all, for the inspiration to write this poem. I appreciate it very much!
