This is so beautiful what you have written about your favorite gospel song and why. This is a beautiful testimony of how God can and will use us if we only listen to Him. This is so lovely my friend. May God bless you and your family! love, Teri

Thank you, Teri! God worked in every day of that experience. We had so many blessings, even though it was definitely the hardest summer of our lives.
My favorite song changes pretty much by the day. lol. It was hard to choose one, but I had just listened to the song, Flawless, so that made it easier. :)
Thank you again for hosting this club!
    Blessings to you and yours,
    Deb

My husband and I were just talking yesterday about how one day, Muslims and Jews will find Jesus in droves. your story brought chills to my skin. I'm sure I don't need to explain it to you, but this is a great testament for your friend. it is well written with logical order, and detail.

I noticed one typographical error:
I know that song wasn't the turning point for her, but I also know God used it in her life to prepare her heart. I now He allowed me to sow a seed that took root.
Last sentence here, now should be know. :-)

Love your story! Hugs and blessings.

Oh, rats! Itchy trigger finger on that word, and eagle eyes that saw exactly what I MEANT instead of what I TYPED! lol... And that's NEVER happened to me before...Bwahahahahaha!
Thank you for your own love for people of other faiths. My church is starting a program on the 26th called Motivation. They discussed in the intro how there have been 12 movements in Muslim countries since 2000. That means 1000 conversions or a specific number of churches started in Muslim countries. Then my pastor stepped in and pointed out that we don't have to go to other countries to witness to 'foreign' folks. They are coming to the US ! All we have to do is be bold and love enough to step out and speak the truth to them. SO COOL!
Okay, I'll step off my podium now...
Thank you for the review and kind comments! I appreciate the catch. :)
    Blessings to you and yours,

That's great news! Witnessing through the Internet is also an option. This is a good thing for me, since I hardly ever even leave my house! However, the Internet is always with me. :-)

And? Thank you for the reviewer nomination. I appreciate that you appreciate me pointing out your little typo. Ha! :-)

Blessings in the name of our Lord, Jesus Christ. Hugs.

Hi Deb, I love your story, and sometimes a word can change and save the world. You explained very well: "Jesus. The Son of God came to take the punishment for our idiot mistakes, our intentional evil, and all the other stuff in between." Thank you for sharing and good luck with your writings.

Augh! I didn't cap the quesiton mark??? lol
My friend is amazing. And here's the rest of the story. She roomed with three Christian girls (or maybe they were in her study group...) In September after we left Ft. Worth in July, they bought her a Bible for Christmas. Each girl took one full onth to notate verses they loved, to write her their testimonies and why they believe Jesus is the only way to God, write prayers for her, etc. A full month each! She went with one of them, telling her family they were going for a break to San Antonio, which was true. They were just going to celebrate Christmas during that break. The girls were all there and gave her the Bible. She was so blown away that they cared that much about her!
I've never done that. But I've never been led to do so. Still...I have some thoughts on what I"d do if God ever says, "TThat's your person! Do the Bible-thing for them!"
    So far, nope. lol.
Blessings and hugs and thank you for the catch and the encouragement!

You did a super job with your entry for the club challenge, Deb. I loved reading your well-thought out story. I was engaged from start to finish and wasn't disappointed at all--virtual 6, my friend. It is amazing how 'things' fall together when we believe in God' power. He knows best for all. Your story is inspirational on many levels--spiritually, family, love, and musically. The words of your favorite hymn could not have been more perfect. Your descriptions of everything were so detailed, too. I could see you and Basma on the trip to retrieve the meds and having the discussion about your favorite music. Thanks for the informative notes, too.
Respectfully, Jan
