This is a meaningful poem. Your communicating with it made the difference. The reader can identify with the imagery. People don't realize plants know what's going on. I am a dowser and am very aware of energies giving life for healing. Some people from Vermont were learning this. They had a plant hooked up to something like a lie detector where they could read the reactions of the plant. One was going to CA and decided to try something. He'd think something painful about the plant. He did not say what it would be or when. The day and hour he thought of burning the plant, it went crazy on the graph. I happy for you & your plant.

This poem is absolutely delightful and coming from some one with very much a brown thumb I can relate entirely. I keep buying plants with the hope one will will itself to live but alas it never happens. Love this poem and worthy of 6 stars

A sweet poem for your friend that's no longer here. What an interesting bit behind the poem, about the plant getting sick when your friend got sick too. I'm sorry your friend is gone, but happy your plant survived.

Very nice poem. I like you rhyme and meter and the reason you gave for making shre it keeps living. Houseplants sometimes die for no apparent reason and sometime they just keep going.
