You whipped up a storm here by the sounds of it Melissa and I love breaking the rules in poetry and your sonnet is a joy to read and I adore your matching rhymes in the couplet too. Your sonnet is magical and the rhyme scheme change in the final stanza just added to the magic, love Dolly x

Thanks so much, Dolly. It is fun to be challenged with new forms. We are on to the Miltonian sonnet next... he keeps us jumping!! :). When I can take a breath from life, I will try your hectic heptad sp? It sounds fun too.
