An amazing story, out of the textbooks. Great descriptions that let me to believe that was a real wall, and you two were having a match in ingenuity. it was very well written. Amazing.

Ah, Gareth, this is a clever write this. There can only be one of two walls you're referring to. I first thought. Are we talking about Trump's famous wall? But I left that thought when I read the ending. So, we are either talking about a firewall, as in computers, or we are talking about 'writer's block'. Now you tell me which. I believe it is the latter. Ulla:)))

The wall is representative of a great many things. in this instance it's struggling to write. G

This was brilliant, G. When I started reading it, I had no clue of course to the ending. Just that Cameron was staring at a brick wall, that seemed to go on and on forever. When I read the ending, I could easily recognize that walls are present in our daily lives and how we dismantle them or destroy them becomes our challenge. Totally amazing.

Well, you had me going there. I was picturing a real brick wall. I'm sure most of can relate to the wall you speak of. I'm surprised that a writer of your caliber suffers from such an affliction. 8-)

lol. I think it happens to everyone at some point. For me though it's more apathy. I just can't be bothered most of the time these days. G

I totally understand. You may not know, but I love one of my sons in September. Ever since then, I've had to force myself to function.

This is awesome. The imagery is fantastic. Well done. Leaves me wondering at the end if the wall is a metaphor for his attempts to hack through the firewall of a computer, or if he's being held prisoner somewhere and can't escape. The fact that I don't know for sure is very thought-provoking. Six stars!!

This is a story we can all relate to, most of last week for me By midweek, I almost convinced myself that all my ideas have dried up, I'm done. Your story is well-written, interesting, very relatable. Thank you for sharing it with us.

That happens to all of us, Gareth. It's an awful feeling when nothing comes to break the wall down and let the passion of writing begin again. I liked the way you described that feeling, and the use of a wall as a metaphor was excellent. Nice to see you on here again, my friend. :)) Sandra xx
