I thoroughly enjoyed this story, you certainly entertained me with this tale of a strong minded and powerful woman who beat up her boyfriend in front of his friends. She held down a good job and looked after her children and did not shirk her responsibilities, a woman I admire and your story telling here is magical, love Dolly x

What I like most about this story is that it is written with a loving no-holds barred authenticity. Only a sibling has unsolicited permission to do this.
I had a little trouble with the time line. The story jumped from one incident to another. Memories don't come in any particular order and at times during the story it seemed as if it was written just as the memories presented themselves.
However the story did portray well the sister's love and acceptance of Rose, warts and all.
This rating does not count towards story rating or author rank.

Thank your for the read and review. I do have to disagree about the timeline since it is a complete picture. If anyone else had pointed it out, I would take a second or third look. However, I do appreciate your thoughts and I did take a second look.

I enjoyed reading about Rose. She is a strong woman and obviously can take anything. Excellent writing with a smooth flow of story and the characters of Rose and Marco are vivid.

Yes! I cheered for her when she walloped him down for going around with other woman! What a brat she had! Why didn't she get out the soap for him!!!!! My kids wouldn't dare. She must have been soft on him, the only thing/one!

This is a very entertaining story, i really enjoyed reading it. Can you imagine washing a child's mouth out with soap in this day and age. You would probably be prosecuted for abuse. Nice one. Cheers. Jen

You certainly were able to convince me that Rose was a force to contend with. Good for her. She called a spade a spade, I see. I know a few people like her and they are treasured for their truthfulness. You wrote this well. This part gave me pause as I shuddered to think...
