Robyn Cornum wrote a story suggesting we go into our friends portfolios and give a review on a work that's one short of the Recognized blue ribbon or All Time Best Status. I thought it was a great idea so I'm reviewing this work for you. Pay it forward.

Thank you so much!

I couldn't get this upset about a plant. You certainly want revenge on the yardmen who recklessly trimmed your plant into oblivion. You've dreamed up some unpleasant ways of dealing with them. The Sheshire is an interesting form. It took me a while to understand the use of asides at the end, but you did an excellent job with yours, and it is funny. judi

Of course, I wasn't upset. It was an accident, and these people are very good people. They offered to buy me another one, but this one will grow back. It gave me something to write about though. I'm glad you saw the humor in it, too.

You're welcome. We do have to take advantage of anything that provides opportunity to write. Just a note. For some reason my script "Top-Notch Caterers Part 4 ended up not notifying fans. I've promoted it again, but apparently still no notifications. Milty proposed to Elsa in this one. judi

I must catch up!

This sheshire, Poor Wee Bush, has the right set up and mourns the ripped-up rhododendrons ruined by the inattentive gardener.

Thank you, Bill. I wasn't really mad at them. It will grow back. 8-)

Aw, that poor little shrub. Is this a true story, Yvonne? I hate it when my shrubs that I've nurtured are battered about. I enjoyed your poem, and the rant, it's just as well they weren't around when you went out with your clippers!! LOL. Well done dear SATP, another lovely poem as usual. Lots of hugs and love. :)) Sandra xxx

Yes, it's true. I know it was accidental. They are so conscientious. They offered to buy me another one, but that wasn't a cure. I wasn't really mad at them. Thanks, SATP.

How clever, I loved this. I will say that I have a black thumb and every plant I touch dies on contact, but I would never clip one up! What a horror movie scene. Thanks so much for sharing. :)

I do pretty well with outside plants, but potted inside plants I consider cut flowers. That's about how long one lasts indoors with me. I've even killed ivy!

Oh my goodness, Yvonne. Sometimes ranting, even late, can help get rid of some of the frustrations we feel. I totally agree that these guys/gals, whatever, were reckless and foolish to think they could get away with this stunt. What a pity? Shame on them.

It was an accident. I was really angry with them. It will soon get its growth back. If they weren't usually so careful, I might be vexed with them. Thanks for reviewing.

Even though it was an accident, they were still careless and you should be angry, but considering it will grow back, forgiveness is given. You are so welcome Yvonne.

You made me smile here and amputating your poor precious rhododendron certainly is cause for complaint but it won't reattach the leaves, but it might grow again, this is a fun write, love Dolly x

Thank you. It was an accident. They offered to buy me another one, but this one will spurt in the spring.

I understand why you are upset. Perhaps they accidentally injured your bush and they had to amputate to save it.
I will have to trust you followed the rules of the form, but the message is loud and clear. Well done Yvonne. Nancy:)

Hello, friend!
This is a fun poem and I loved the format. *smile* Someday I may try to do more formal poetry styles. I admire all you brave folks who continue to learn and grow -- showing off your diligence, skill, and attention to detail. Thank you!

A very well-written Sheshire poem about garden helpers that destroyed your rhododendron which you planted with great care and it made you very upset to find out about their terrible mistake.
