Very beautiful poem and very insightful. I lost my husband at age 40, very difficult. Our kids were 21, 18, and 8. The eight-year-old took it the hardest. The 17-year-old was in the Marines and in Korea. We had to hold the funeral for 2 days until he got home. That was in 1979, many years ago. But thank goodness I had a career so we didn't starve. I remarried in 1995, took a long time to find a good man, but I did. :)))))

That is a very good verse depicting how we feel when we lose a loved one unexpectedly. Having lost my husband after surgery, I could have written these words. Thank you for sharing.
