Great metaphor to set the 'stage': "The convoluted snake" Kind of a juxtaposition to its metaphor. But then some might not like the sound of that name: ""River of the Arms of God" Am I dead? Is that why I'm in the arms of God. I like how you weave dialectal idioms and terms through the story. Great example of personification which may bring a smile to people who can identify. Moving on

Ah, Brett, so Astatula is back. I like that. He is now- I nearly said a strapping, but too sure about that- twenty-four years of age and still has a lot of growing to do. Not in size, but mentally so. I'm looking forward to this. Ulla:)))
