Unfortunately, this is 'funny, sick' not 'funny, humorous'. isn't it funny how stupid can get even more stupid. I thought it had bottomed out already, but apparently not. Oh yeah, let's attack the Capitol for fun - what a bright idea.

I'm not really seeing the humor with this one. I think it's a bit too soon to joke on this matter, really. I guess if I had certain political leaning it may seem funny, but then someone could make the same play with a poem dealing with BLM looting stores for equality. Definitely a tricky topic to address in a form of humor.

This is a 5/7/5 piece, but I am not sure it fits in the contest guide lines. I am not seeing the humor. I believe the piece is sayig you will get what you deserve if you continue to act out and there may be some funny in how that is enacted.

This is an excellent, topical poem for the contest
with the exact syllables.
Hopefully, it lands them all in jail,
the leaders and the followers.
Sadly several people died in this tragedy.

Loved it and agree with the sentiment. A lot of people are finding out what happens, as they get hauled off. I like poems that take on current events. I also thought it was really, really clever that you bought some extra syllables with the title - I'll have to remember that. Well done!
