Love is never gone as long as it is remembered. I love the assonance and the alliteration in this verse. Those long vowels make the memories linger even longer.

Your words are very touching. I am especially touched because of the recent death of my brother, my only sibling. I knew he was in bad health and was set to go out to Texas for one last visit. He was looking forward to it and suddenly passed four days before my expected arrival. But he died knowing I was coming...love's gentle whispers will always remind him.

I love the image of love echoing. Very cool. You did a wonderful job with theme and presentation. I would mention that I was told that it needed to be justified to the left to resemble a crescent moon. I had mine centered too. Just a thought. Great verse, Yvette.

Another FS reviewer shared that Lune poems should be flush left - akin to waxing and waning moon phases. I could not find this reference on the Internet. So my normally centered text lines are now flush left for my Lune posts going forward.

I enjoyed this Lune poem. The word are lovely and true, I think. I still remember the gentle whispers of lave that my husband and I shared and he's been gone nearly three years. The memories are sweet rather than sad.
