Great advice, Amada. Even in the most beautiful sceneries we must not become lax during this pandemic.

Oftentimes, I becomes tearful on beautiful days and nights knowing that the air might be tainted. Sad, so sad.

Thank you for sharing your lovely poem, dear.

Amada,
I love this short poem--it says so much in just a few words. I just to love fireworks, but now the noise is a little too much for my PTSD.
You write so well, Amada, and you've really come a long way in just a few months.
Congratulations on the All Time Best badge.

Blessings,
Have a good weekend,
Cindy

Excellent and timely Lune poem. A commentary on our times. Striking picture to draw attention to the hopeful healing light.

Well done.

To some degree, I Envy you, I have an interest in blinking neon lights. But for me, I have a hard time being around strangers. But I would definitely enjoy the neon blinking lights. As for the people on respirators, we can only hope the best for them. Best wishes.

This use the pandemic mask as a metaphor for the fact people couldn't see the faces of the people who were watching the fireworks or maybe that no one had fireworks displays for New Year's Day.
Keep writing and stay healthy.

Both your words and your artwork paint a clear and pertinent picture at this time of year. I love the image of the boulevard wearing a mask tonight, hiding the reality of day.

Hi my friend. This is a brilliant Lune and should be considered for Poem of the month in my view. It is clever and very much well-timed because of our pandemic situation.

"boulevard
wears a mask, tonight."

Masks will be a way of life forever, I am thinking. Bob

I agree with the sentiments you expressed in your notes! I also wish for them a healing light. You said much in this short poem, and the artwork is perfect. I love the idea of the neon lights wearing a mask - the fireworks overcoming even their own brightness!
Thank you for sharing.
Susan

A very powerful thirteen syllables indeed and rendered even more so by events in Washington currently widely reported. To get the horns of your moon to rhyme makes it exceptional
