Are you referring that your mind is your muse or your writing? I have always thought that muse means thoughts that you relate to...(to become absorbed in thought especially: to think about something carefully and thoroughly something you can relate to...)

"My creative process, begins with just a thought" - great way to start your poem. And then that thought goes in a completely different direction than we want it to. Very well written, and good rhyming.
