Wow! This is a little piece of thinking WAY outside the box. CUTE and quite humorous! Your inner thoughts . . . quite interesting? How do you end on a fly strip? I think I need to put 1000 random topics in a tophat and just draw one out and go crazy! At any rate, this is great! :)

This dialogue-only story, Lord of the Flies, brings the reader the Martin and Lewis of the fly community. These guys should get top billing and be here all week.

Hi dear Sally!
Took me awhile to stop giggling over this hilarious Dialogue poem,
before I could even contemplate a reply dear! LOL...this so clever
and so closely akin to some human kind of predilections and
dialogue it's impossible not to see the bemusing connection and
comparison...LOL... Tempting and teasing menu these flies had
to stick on or unstick to! LOL...
Thanks for sharing and best of luck in contest!!
Love always, Ronni

Hi Sally,
I remember those rolls of flypaper. They were sooo sticky. They actually worked very well... so many corpses side by each, all the way from top to bottom.
A funny write! I really enjoyed the humor.
"It's called flypaper, Goose.
Since when?
Since you were a maggot."

The life of a fly, eh? ... ditching fly swatters, and where to eat?
"Takeout it is!"

Nicely penned! Good Luck in the contest!
Hugs,
Kimbob

So you are a fly-by-night writer, Sally. :) I must write. Anyone who makes a fly a want-a-be star is in a class of their own. I read the joke about the fly on the windshield of a trailer, but you take the three-year-old cake. :) This is very good. I hope I never have flies talking to me. Thank you for sharing. :)

Very clever and a delight to read! Although, I must say it made me hungry.
They are flies, but you've imbued personality in this witty dialogue. Fantastic ending.
One small thing '... you've culled my interest..." I think you meant to say caught my interested or piqued my interest.
Great story. Good luck in the contest.

That's funny. That is awfully nice of Goose to offer "Chinese take-out" for his stuck friend! I liked your imagination of the fly conversation. Best wishes in the contest!

This is funny. I like the attitude of these flies. No matter how dire the circumstances, they can still dream. Apparently the free fly plans to bring back takeout for his friend. Now that is true friendship. Great dialogue.

Excellent presentation. Very interesting theme! This is a very creative piece. Funny too! I read it actually wanting to read it, not just for the points. Good luck.
