I liked this one, I certainly put up with someone as obnoxious as Veronica, there weren't many female bosses around when I was a young man, so I'm not sure what, although Elaine, as a teacher did have some problems with a female principal she served under. This is a great episode, the real Joseph is a gem, and really cares for Carrie, but I feel sorry for Veronica, excellent post, you're so versatile with your tasty episodes dear girl, blessings Roy

I created this particular scene for all the woman (like myself) who has been bullied by a female boss. I know what it feels like to be treated poorly and disrespected. Although, in my story I can make it end however I want. I think the Shadow might be Veronica's karma. I am a true believer of what you put out there in this world always comes back.

If I was Carrie, I'd think I'd tell my boss what I thought, where she could go, what she could kiss. She doesn't deserve to be treated like that no one does. I do hope the shadow takes care of her soon. I'll be cheering him on when he does. Joeseph is so sweet, quite a gentleman. It's too bad he has that dark, evil side. Your story is very well-written, interesting, believable start to finish. Your characters and their dialogue are believable. Like always, I look forward to reading more.

I was hoping you would be rooting for the Shadow. LOL! I actually created the scenario with Carrie and her boss Veronica due to my own real experience. I know exactly how Carrie feels. Although in the real world we don't have a Shadow to take care of a terrible boss, but I can pretend and create one. LOL!
I believe what you put out there in this world eventually comes back. It's called karma.

What ever you have in store I'm sure is going to be interesting. Really like your choice of pictures as well. Perhaps foreshadowing of events to come? Anyway a good read with no errors I could detect.

I'm so thrilled to hear you are rooting for Joseph. Although he is possessed by an evil entity, he is truly a good person. If only he could rid himself of the Shadow. But first... he has to take care of Carrie's mean boss. LOL!
I actually took the scenario between Carrie and Veronica from my own experience. I surely know how Carrie feels. It's almost like your trapped, worried if you don't take the abuse, you will lose everything you've worked hard for. I just wish I had a Shadow. Haha!
