Another one of my favorites. My favorite The Wizard of Oz, although it came out the year I was born. 1939, Gone With the Wind and Oz. I had a shirt that said I am a 1939 classic, along with Oz and Wind. Forrest Gump another great. But there are many greats from the past, because the past was great. The present, Not so much. :((((

This movie is still great to this day. The acting, special effects and time, still make it work very well. Steven Spielberg was an ace then and is still an incredible Director now. Good luck in the contest.

I like it! Its been a long time since I watched the movie, but the haiku focuses on the aspect of being far way and alone. It "humanizes" ET and makes the reader feel emotion. Well done.
