All things work together, to them that love God, to those who are called to His purpose. Nothing can keep us from loving our God. Definitely no virus!! Thank for sharing.

Thank you very much.

I love this upbeat, positive and faith-filled poem. Yes, I believe that you are right in your confidence that we will root out this menace, and it will happen by faith, prayer, and God's mercy and grace, not simply by the works of man. Yes, we need to continue to take responsible actions, but God is our real hope in the midst of this crisis. The picture is very touching.

This could receive nothing but a six in my personal opinion. IT is strong and aggressive and it makes me feel what I AM FEELING! The photo choice, (you can't go wrong with Cleo!) is excellent. It helps that I love free verse, but you jumped out and nailed it with this one!
Perfection! In a time when we need it.

A very -well-written poem giving hope and courage in the difficult days. But this the most wonderful time of the year and words of courage and hope will fill our hearts with joy and will remind us of the reason for the season. Thanks for sharing. Good luck!
Merry Christmas!

If we ever needed to trust, pray, and believe, it's now. Broken spirits can be healed only by the Lord; fears can be calmed only by Him. Your poem is profound in spirituality and uplifting meaning--a wonderful blend of literal and figurative language.

I hope that you are right as well. I pray that next year will be a brighter and less frightful year. I hope God will give us back some normalcy. A well written poem. Don

This is very well done. Your author's notes touched my heart as you write of hope and your confidence that we will overcome this "menace." "Viscious virus" and "sacred season" are two great examples of alliterative writing. "displaced" and "distressed" also show excellent good usage of this poetic device. "thorn" and "scorn" are super internal rhymes and add class to this wonderful commentary of our current situation and how we can lift above and "zoom in for Christmas prayer." Well written and extremely topical regarding our pandemic and the holiday season overlapping. Thanks for the insights.

As if the other things we have endured this year were not bad enough, Racial division, a major failure of our political system, disruption of all of our major sports, college and professional. Now our major holidays are suffering a disruption. 2020, cannot end soon enough.

I found this to be a very compelling read, detailing viewpoints touching to heart prevailing the virus, seeing light in its darkness. I ventured in mind those living during Black plague their Christmas. All things stated in my given opinion.

Thankyou for this prayer of sorts, Sanku. God bless you and Happy Holidays. These were my favorite lines in your poem:
"But our spirits wont be broken, our faith firm
we still have power to fight
The displaced and distressed shall find solace
as we share our joy with them."
