I can definitely identify with your sense of frustration! In theory the wrapping is done with love and joy .... but the reality, that's often something else! Best wishes for your very good entry in the contest.

Thank you for reviewing. I always end up using yards of tape and it gets on me mostly... and the paper tears too.

Oh, this is definitely relatable! I struggle to wrap Christmas gifts neatly. I never could manage to match my Mom's skill level.
Maybe you could work on spacing a bit so the poem is easier to follow. Otherwise, it's very good!

Thanks for reviewing my poem. Could you give me a bit of help please with understanding what you mean about the spacing? Where? Do you mean to make more stanzas instead of the current 4? What is currently difficult to follow?
-
When I talked about spacing, I meant spaces between lines. Maybe every four lines you could have a space to separate stanzas.
-
That's good advice. The smaller stanzas look better. Thank you.

Who can't relate to this one? Perfectly written from stem to stern with lovely thread of humor unfolding, evolving and culminating in the perfect solution at the end: a small gift :)
Who hasn't done this? I have!
Sure contest winner here!

Thanks for your super review. i feel such a klutz when the sticky tape sticks to me instead of the parcel.

Very cute little poem, and so true. I have two left fingers where it come to the delicate art of wrapping -How can I hold the edges down?
I need three hands, not two.
This makes me grumpy, with a frown;
I don't know what to do.
