Lisa,
The singular image of the birds sitting in the tree branches and filling the air with bird song is delightful.
Rhythmical lyrics without words....nicely crafted visual.

This is cute! I like it. I can hear the birds singing to each other. The title is good and the picture pairs well with it. I'm glad you put a note about the word "poems." Good luck in the contest!

This two-line poem, Poetic Birdsong, has the proper formatting and finds the music and rhythm in the feathered friend on the outside limb.

A very well-written two-line poem about birds filling the trees in lines while seeking trilling words to write a poem that bring joy to the reader with a mindful picture.

Poetic birds trilling away here in your two line poem and I wish you luck with the contest and I have no idea how you say poem and make it sound like one syllable! Ha ha ha, love Dolly x

Americans say 'pome' - what an abuse of language!

Positively Trilling 2-line poem contest entry. Subject is light, sweet, cute, airy, pleasant, beloved by all. Perfectly matched artwork adds to the charm, levity, freshness of the text.
Well done!
Lucy

First I love the picture. As winter is closing in here with 14" of snow, the brightness and image of your words is refreshing.
Thanks for the taste of Spring.

We are in warm weather here, and my plum tree is fruiting, so there are many birds around.

What a lovely idea! And capturing two rhymes per line in a two line poem -so very well done. The poetry of nature, and its beauty, don't need words, just eyes and ears. Thanks and good wishes for the contest.

Nice bit of whimsy--I am relieved not to see an orange-headed thrush tweeting amidst the company of these more developed birdbrains who know that "poem" has two syllables.

Haha... you Americans need to pronounce 'poems' correctly as the 2-syllable word it is.
Hopefully that orange bird brain will soon be a dodo.
