Wonderful/Amazing. I loved this. My husband was a sweeper on his soccer team in high school. I loved to watch IU Bloomington soccer while I was there--graduate of 1996. You really brought all that enthusiasm and excitement home in this one poem. Thanks, Theresa H.

I enjoyed your poem despite you chose to say he played for Spain ( only 2 years) rather than mention he played for Napoli for 7 season.. he was a nation hero here in Italy.
Maradona had a passion for the game and danced on the field.
His untimely death sadly, he can thanks to drugs and the wild life he led .. ( 6 illegitimate children).

This is an informative acrostic poem and it is also very sad. How did this man die? I am guessing that it was an accident or something unexpected. Is that correct? Well done. I like the internal rhymes use that help the power flow. The shorter lines make it easier to read. Thank you for sharing.
