I can really see a romance betweem Katherine and Gabriel, talk about taking on a ready family!! He does seem so nice though, and the children all like him. That is the main thing. Kids seem to know what grown-ups are like and when Mum is involved, they keep a close watch. My two boys were like that after I was widowed at a young age. This is another excellent part, my friend, well done! :)) Sandra xxx

I read this yesterday and I thought I had done a review on it but I don't see it so I'll try again. This is an excellent chapter. The coach is making some headway in making a good impression on Katherine. She is seeing his soft side. I know the her son is fond of the coach and apparently her mother approves since he asked him to stay for supper. I'm wondering what the tire slashing Mr. Frost will do next. I eagerly await your next post.

The dialogue is nice and realistic, and we get the dynamic starting to develop between Katherine and her son and the coach, who seems to be courting her. She seems to be hanging back a bit in this chapter, and the relationship between Jordan and the coach is the main focus here. They seem to be hitting it off. In order to get closer to Katherine, he must get along with her children. estory

This jock does have a soft heart. It was very endearing that Gabriel could do a self assessment and realise that he had to change. And he is still on that road to improvement...I appreciate the characterisation..

Ah, Katherine is starting to soften. I, for one, was not aware that this was a long post. Your characterization and pace are so smooth and your transitions like buttuh! I know I've said it before, but you've grown so much as a writer over the 3 years I've been gone.

Dear Barbara, this post is just as good as the previous one, I am still a little behind because I did not have a chance to read the previous chapters yet. I am glad that someone else admits to falling behind, when they have too much else to do.
Hopefully we will both catch up soon !

What is it with you and the yummy food pictures that make me groan aloud even before reading? Ha ha I end up getting a hankering for that meal. The story is just great, and I can hardly wait for the next post.

I can never decide on one photo for the entire book so I choose something from the post. Most of the time it's food because I can't find anything else. I wanted one with a guy holding a chair for a female and couldn't find a good one.

It is apparent you have raised boys. LOL. I can see this dog and its size. Wow. Love the bib bit and yep they slobber as well. Looks like charm is working. Good one Barb

Yes, I raised 4 of them and lived to tell about it and most of the time I was a geographic single parent because my husband was military and gone often. Thank you.

Well, Gabriel has an interesting life story. It seems like he's learned about being someone besides a jock. Katherine is warming to him, but I'd still like to see her with someone else. That Reggie is quite a dog. He makes himself at home wherever he is. The boys have adjustments to make when it comes to living in Texas. I know it was quite an experience for me. People looked at me funny if they saw me walking somewhere. We'll see if Katherine has any more problems from Frost. Great characterization. judi
