Yes. We are planning to go to visit our son in California (Canceled). I really hope our trip to Mexico in late January will work and we can see our son there.

A very well-written Script especially for Covid19 Christmas of 2020 that we will not easily forget in the years to come. The celebrations can physically be cancelled but no one can cancel the Christmas spirit within our hearts.

Some notes, if I may:
1.) On the table (lies) a plastic small Christmas tree.
2.) we will wait until the next day when (it) is dinner time over there and lunch over here.
3.) Me. I(s) Christmas still on?
4.) I('m) supposed to be in Mexico right now dancing with the fishes!
I'd like to go dance with those fishes myself! Thanks!

Your back and forth here between naughty self and self created lots of tension, and really articulated the frustrations of planning Christmas in the epidemic. Every hope, of visiting relatives, of having a dinner, of shopping for presents, is stymied by the stay at home orders. All we are left with is the Amazon gifts, which may or may not arrive on time, and that skype visits with far away family, and shaking that snow globe on the kitchen table. Not even a chance at an after Christmas getaway to Mexico. Hey! Order a vaccine for a friend! With a -94F freezer to keep it! estory

They say they haven't cut corners, but doing this in three months is deffinitely cutting corners, especially with new technology. estory

Yes, Covid sure has put a different slant on Christmas for most people around the world for this year. I think there will be a lot of cheering when we turn into 2021. Nevertheless one can be happy with the basics, some-one to love and be loved by. That will suffice.
