Very nice take on the Appalachian. I love West Virginia and those beautiful mountains. The history has always fascinated me. Down-home folks and real.
Thanks for sharing your nice poem.

Very good. You did a good job of painting a verbal picture of the Appalachian mountains. I was born in those valleys and raised with hill folk. Your work is technically sound with a strong ending. Great job, wishing you continued success.

Hi estory, I think this is a grand finale to your series about nature in the mountains. Something I can vividly identify with, as I live in the mountains. I also like you've dedicated your poem to Roy. I'm sure he will be delighted. Ulla:)))

There is a clear image of the mountain chapel in your poem. "The world seems far away" is my favorite line, I feel that way when I am in church. Excellent faith based poem that touches the reader.

This is a well written piece on the glory of the mountains. Dedicated to Roy Owen is a great tribute to him, and I am sure, much appreciated. This is a wonderful series!

I grew up in the foothills of the Monte Sano Mountain in Alabama, so I love the mountains.
