Bill,
My inbox has been packed full for a while so I had to go looking for Wyoming. This was a great ending for your series - no doubt. Believe it or not, where I live - the road I live on, used to be part of the Pony Express. Ain't that cool?!
Great job!

Great read Bill. Been thru Wyoming and Fort Laramie a few times. My home state is Oregon, so I would travel up north that way, and go over the Idaho.
I love that country, its so wide open. When this damn Virus is over we hope to venture done there again. I'm up in BC Canada now. Come up and visit sometime If you haven't been been here before. Cheers. Brad

I enjoyed your coverage of Wyoming. One our way to Yellowstone, we saw Devil's tower in the distance and I was amazed. Like you, I had never heard of it until the movie came out. I found Wyoming to be a very different looking place from any other state I have visited.

Desert or mountains. Take your pick.

Hi Bill. I enjoyed reading this well written essay on the state of Wyoming. I've traveled the states several times by car and train and lived in six states. Our history is an important part of our past and everyone needs to learn about it. Marilyn

As always, Bill. Very well done from beginning to end. I, for one, really enjoyed these little glimpses into history through the vehicle of travel through the states. I will miss these travelogues when you are done....and I think you may be now, since you are in the last of them alphabetically. . Dammit! Good job, Bill. Bob

Bill - Your review of Wyoming is educational as well as entertaining. I remember stopping at a bar that served the biggest and best hamburgers that I had ever had. It was a challenge to finish one! But some times we must do what we must do! - Jerry

You've really breezed through the states. I'm going to check and see if I've missed reading any of your tours. Your description of your trips with your family when you were a kid sounds like something from a National Lampoon Vacation Movie. See what you can do with your family's vacation experiences. What would a trip to Yellowstone be without an experience with a bear. Some of the sights must be awesome to see. I've never traveled out west. A lot of Native American history in Wyoming, which you mentioned, especially Red Cloud's war. Very interesting tour. judi

Thank you, Judi. Our family trips were like the three bears and Goldilocks. I was the innocent child; my brother, the simple and innocuous cub; my mom, a mom; and my dad, a growling, raging bruin who could drive a car.

You're welcome. Funny! You could really have a great time writing about those trips you took with your dad in the driver's seat. judi

This is a great historical piece on how Wyoming came to be. The rich history behind it. How slow the progress was. 30 years to build the first settlement and then another 56 to become a state twenty two years after red cloud's war. Your chapter is well-written, interesting start to finish.

Dear Bill, I am very glad that you included all the monuments for which Wyoming is famous?
I wish you had written a little more on other subjects for example: Wyoming was the first state to allow women to vote. How about mentioning something about the population per square mile, or the ratio of people to cattle. But I will forgive you! You must be exhausted from undertaking the Task of writing about ALL 50 STATES.
I know all your fans appreciate the wealth of information you have gleaned, like chunks for gold from volumes of information, the unique character of each State. MANY THANKS FROM ALL OF US.
