Good luck with the contest Kace. I am really acquainted with the concept you added to your notes. I enjoyed your short dribble as it encouraged the living to light a candle to attract those spirits home and then allow them to cross over during samhain. Well done.

Hello Kace, glad I had a six left - it's yours, you deserve it. Lovely to read a good upbeat message, full of hope. 'So much grief and sorrow, we need a new tomorrow' - lovely! I'll light a candle and think of you. Love Dorothy xx

Hello Dorothy in the snow! I think the legend started in UK when families lit candles for their seafaring men. Bless you my friend. Love, Kay XX

A lovely poem, yet sad , but beautifully written. It is accompanied by a beautiful image, perfectly suited to the theme. Best wishes for the Dribble Flash Fiction contest.

Heartwarming poetic write. My mother always kept a candle burning in the window when my brother was fighting in Vietnam. Thankfully he was there to blow it out when he came home unharmed after 12 months OS - DJ
