I love it! Am in chuckle mode over your darling two liner. It just might have something to do with a certain politician, who's name shall not be mentioned?
You have an excellent chance in the contest. Best of luck.

Combined with the art work, this 2-line poem inspires many ideas. The lame king looks like he's in a dungeon, looking for allies for his cause, but probably not expecting much. What exactly is his demand, we wonder. To donate a leg or to risk life and limb for his cause?

The two line poem met the conditions under the contest restrictions, and flowed freely.I could relate the poem to dining with the devil and the heavy price that goes with it. Thanks for sharing your thoughts.

Very clever piece! Truly a "lame" king.
If you're not willing to sacrifice a limb during his reign, you will not be allowed to serve within his parliament.
Love it!
Thanks for sharing.

I thought this was great. Very creative and I like how you say so much with this poem even though it is only two lines. I would not want to stand with this King! Great job!

Oh dear, this guy seems a bit dangerous to me! Did he cut off a limb to escape! Whatever the meaning here it is clever and it is scary, forever the joker, you, love Dolly x

This two line poem speaks of the essence of the lame king, essentially if you meet or visit him, he will ask for only your limb; well said, well done; thanks for sharing this. ALCREATOR

Wow...now this takes true talent. From the words to the genre to the inspired photograph, you paint a world with such brevity and such risky flair. Bravo!
