This essay has made me cogitate on those points highlighted here. The human mind has vast possibilities ,but the individual is brainwashed by the society at every step of his development and we rarely rise above and beyond his animal needs.
helen keller is a wonder of unimaginable will power.
it is true that ego blocks the broadening or growth of the intellect
Some parts were tough for me to understand especially where physics and psyche combines.
I remenber reader another essay of yours where I had to really exercise my
brain.
Thanks for this post .Very rarely seen here.

A very interesting essay and full of wisdom to ponder. I wish there were more essays such as this on this web site. We need more knowledge and a lot less fluff.

I would have to read this a few times, and I will. (If it's okay with you, I'd like to print this out.)
There is a lot that I understand, and a lot I don't. That is why I need to study this. You have put a lot into this piece and the poetry is fabulous.
#From childhood, we begin hiding our inner self away.# This really hit home. I've often read that we are born with memories, sometimes called, knowledge, the fact that humans can't hold on to those thoughts until we learn to speak, speaks volumes of our, still, immature minds. We have lots of growing still to go. It's sad that we do hide our inner self away, because in that part of us, there is so much more than we realise.
#Homo Sapiens' brains have evolved to the point where they can stop a thought#
That is so true. But we need to evolve a lot more before we are capable to use it properly.
#"The simple secret of the Universe is that we create our own reality."#
I like that. It says it perfectly.
#Our MindSpace, once expanded by a new idea, can never return to its previous dimension.#
You've finished this perfectly. I only ask, who would truly want to? There are things in my mind that are so far away from what our 'mindspace' believes me capable of, and my wish is that I can come back and do those things impossible for me to do today.
I thought this was brilliant. And perhaps I'll question more once I've studied the whole of what you are saying. :)) Sandra xxx

By all means. I welcome questions.

Hi there, this is all exciting stuff, and very interesting. But I believe it could have been broken into various, chapters. You would have had a wider audience and many more reviews. As it stands, readers get bored. I did. To much info. This is a creative writing site not a scientific journal. I'm sorry to be so blunt. I know you've put a lot of effort into this, and it is well written. Ulla:)))

Hello Cogitator,
It's a nice piece of Self Improvement Non-Fiction based on PROFOUND Research.
Impressive and perfectly matching the theme phraseology.
Captivating flow throughout from the very beginning i.e. 1st Paragraph to the end. Moreover, the use of Verse Style is working as a Beautifier.
Particularly noteworthy are the description / interpretation of various terms such as Self, Ego etc. Plus Renowned Personalities' Quotations.
LAUDABLE Indeed!

If we believe absurdities
We fail to use our Common Sense
We then commit atrocities
It's time to drop all the pretense
If we dig deep within our soul
We will find love that unites all
The truth is not in some dead scroll
Faulty beliefs cause our downfall
We're Avatars of our Spirit
It works the same for all of us
The uninformed tend to fear it
Once acquiesced, life has begun
Our bodies are temporary
Our ego is the transgressor
The past goes to cemetery
Our brain is just word processor
We project scenes from Here and Now
Thought?s the Big Bang of our MindSpace
We can change them using know-how
To see heaven, Truth we must face
No experience is ever lost
That must be true to have memory
Spirit records without exhaust
We're only forms of energy
Our lives are like moving pictures
Each frame depicts a frozen thought
They are not meant to be fixtures
Many are just what we've been taught
If we take role of director
We can edit final version
Gather the truth as collector
To then begin our conversion
Cutting room floor for every lie
Discard the pains of ignorance
Behold Heaven with inner eye
That's what creates Deliverance
The question is who will attend
The world premiere of Honesty
It makes a path we can ascend
Ignoring it is travesty
Once we accept we're here to grow
Our projections become boundless
Our minds blossom by letting go
Reject the chains to make progress
Eventually we come to know
Our Holy Grail can run over
Truth sets us free to overflow
Excess will cause the changeover

This was an unexpected deep look at self control and really "self" itself. I found it to be very interesting and well written. You must have done a great deal of research and it comes through in this well written piece. Great job.

Hmm a very interesting commentary. You show that many people over time have tackled the questions involving our consciousness from the scientific to the metaphysical. How many parts of the mind are there really, three, perhaps more. Mystics, scholars, mathematicians. Maybe this is something that will never be defined because it was created by a force beyond us.
Thought provoking read. You clearly put a great deal of work into it.

"There's a natural mystic
Blowing through the air
If you listen carefully now you will hear
This could be the first trumpet
Might as well be the last
Many more will have to suffer
Many more will have to die
Don't ask me why"
Bob Marley
Although I still haven't assimilated some of the concepts you introduce in your essay - by which I mean I comprehend your meaning but don't yet feel it in my gut, I'm amazed at the clarity of your write.
Perhaps in our ego blindness we don't see the connection not only among ourselves as humans but among all life, however I know it exists. Could be this is one of the lessons the pandemic has come to teach us.
Thank you for sharing. I will bookmark.
Stay safe and blessed, lightworker!

What an interesting and coherent essay. You have expressed complex themes with clarity and I enjoyed your point of view and explanations very much. I appreciated the quotations from historic figures from many disciplines also.
These topics are so relevant in these times - how everything is connectd seems obvious yet many ignore or refute this simple fact. The other quote i found really relevant, but often lacking these days, was the one by Thomas Jefferson: "The first chapter of wisdom is truth."
