This is a letter of truth and encouragement that many women have to write to themselves so they can get out of a bad marriage. It may go the other way too.

Hmmm... I don't know about that. Thinking that we can only ever expect to find love from ourselves is setting ourselves up for a lot of pain and despair - probably unnecessarily. I do understand that these may be the things you need to be saying at the time, though. To get strong again.

I like your "coming into youself" poem.
You speak for so many women (and a lot of men) with your words.
There is, for many of us, that moment when we know we are done. It is scary and sad but there is that jump of the stomach that feels good...the beginnings of a new life. I like your last couplet very much.
You are all that you need but as time goes on, there will be more that you want again. I, for one, hope you get it.

That 's a sad poem, but with a good resolution to end on. This happens to so many couples, and the ones that cheat think they can get away with it. The grass isn't always greener, it only looks it whilst they cheat because it's exciting. Once the side cheated upon, leaves, that green grass suddenly becomes muck. I loved this, and the moral at the end. You really are worth the effort. Well done and good luck in the contest, :)) Sandra xx
