I wonder if this fellow stopped at McDonald's and picked up a big Mac? Sure looks yummy. It is a hard time of the year to diet. I have been trying to lose weight for the coming year and now we are celebrating the holidays.

A clever little poem, and it rings true for many! The effort and rigidity takes away one of the pleasures of this life -thus the frowning. And so we yield, swallow our pride (and a lot of other things!) Well done!

Your poem aptly describes the picture. I am sure there are a lot of people who can relate to this during this time of isolation that most of us face. With a lot of will-power, I have managed to resist the extra eating.

Ha ha ha, you made me smile here as this guy loves his food! The problem with all diets is that they are temporary and when the dieter returns to his normal eating pattern he regains all the weight! Ha ha ha, a fun post, love Dolly x
