This is a good and season appropriate write for the 1-6-1 writing prompt. I love the fun in the picture as well. Snowball fights used to be a lot of fun but now they are banned.

This is a happy, cheery and positive poem. Playing in the snow sounds like so much fun right now. Excellent use of the 1-6-1 form that creates a clear winter scene.

Your artwork certainly compliments your poem.
Kids love snow when it's thick and wet. Then they can make a million snowballs and build snowmen easily. This short poems brings back childhood memories.

I have seen several of these entries so far and yours is definitely my favorite to date. Your syllable count is just right and you tell a fun little story and offer some wonderful memories of long-forgotten moments.
The only negative thing I see is that your poem is hard to read based on your font and background color choices at the moment. I suggest a small edit. Thanks and good luck!

Thanks for your review. I'm guessing you were seeing black writing on blue. It was supposed to be white writing, not sure what happened.

This poem put a big smile on my face. I love the upbeat message that you provide. You bring back why we, as kids, love snow. Now it is a nuisance at best! But this was great. Wonderful!
