Yes, we might have to distance ourselves but people can communicate through a lot of things- Zoom, phone, text and it goes on.
My family surprised me this past Easter and got a phone conference together. I don't particularly like Zoom but I will look at Face book
when our church is on Live.
I like your poem and you have the holiday spirit and a few words said it all about Thanksgiving, a sharing of togetherness.
May you and your family have a nice holiday as well as a good Christmas.
Good luck in the contest.

Thank you so much for your read and review. And the honor of six stars. You have made my day and the rest of the week.

Harry T,
You expressed this socially distant Thanksgiving Day perfectly in your poem.
The great news is...whether we are physically all together around a family table....or zooming in from other states, countries and states...the family love that is sent through the ethers....never loses its meaning..
Love is love...
Family is family!
Nice job with this write.

We have no choice but be patient to wait for things becoming normal again. Having said that, patience has a limit too. We need a new leader to get us out of this difficult time. We just translate our patience into hopes.

Thanks for the feedback. What could I have done to make this a five star offering?

Good writing. Thanksgiving is not just togetherness. There is love hidden in the festival. Such love is not obviously presented.

Thanks for the reply.

You are welcome

I like the way you have expressed this thought. The love of family and friends still abides even if we cannot be together in person. Our memories of the past still bind us together.

Harry,
That image is priceless!! It is perfectly suited to your poem about the Thanksgiving meals we'll all be sharing this year. It's an insane time, isn't it? Thanks for the smile! Good luck!
