I think mask are a good and bad thing. They do, in their way, help prevent things from spreading. However, I feel they make me touch my face more. Aside it hides peoples faces making it easier for them to hide their identity when they do something wrong.

This two-line poem, Masks, uses forty-five words and asks the question of the reader where he/she stands on wearing a protective mask.

I wearing a mask is perceived as having one's personal rights violated, but of course, it's simply concern for the other person, here, after more than 200 days of nil local infections, we had a breakout of several people when a cleaner caught an infection of a surface and spread it quickly to her large family, causing a lockdown, this is not a two line poem, it's six syllables per line with internal and external rhyme, this will be disqualified unless you change it, good luck, blessings Roy something like.
Wear those masks going out,
These are tasks having clout. (You may use this example, good luck,)

This is indeed a sad situation as with so much controversy over masking who knows what to do. You have covered it well in this two-line poem. Good job. Sometimes I do, sometimes I don't.

I like what you are saying in this poem. Before this year, who would have thought a fight of this magnitude could have developed over whether to wear a mask to prevent sickness.
It has become a potent symbol in a time in our country/world where there are probably too many symbols...especially if they only cause us to be enemies because of them. Nice art work. Good luck in the contest.

I agree so much with you. Wearing a mask is so necessary. The ones that don't take this virus seriously are being bull headed. Stay safe/stay well. We will get through this pandemic and see the new year in.....

This two line piece provokes thought. The use of different masks in the picture is a good lead-in. Yes, I ask also, is it too much to perform one small act of compassion for others? That very act shows who you are behind the mask - a person who cares about the well-being of others.

I think in open air, such as the beach, riding a bicycle, walking outside - anything outside unless in a crowd, it is ridiculous to wear a mask. I think some governors have gone power crazy shutting down schools and businesses, ruining the lives of millions of people - much worse than the disease. Yes, we should try to protect others and those in stores or anywhere in close proximity to others, should wear masks. There's nothing macho about not wearing a mask, but I will say, I truly hate them.
Also, that word you said - conform. Yes, most people dislike conforming - it goes against the grain. That does not mean we don't care about others.
