Jaded,
This was an simple two line poem- but it sent a deep message.
Writing does free the writer's spirit to feel a bevy of emotions. Pain, laughter, love, fear and so much more.
To those that write- your message is easy to understand.

The problem with using a picture like this - one with a written message is that it tends to add to the actual poetic creation. That is not a good idea in a contest as your poem needs to stand on its own. In this case it does , and I don't think the picture actually adds anything. I would change it to something non-verbal if I were you.
